November 4th & 5th will see the Winter Film Festival hit the cinema of Bourg Saint Maurice.
There's not only a selection of newly released ski films, that's an array of other entertainment including live music and a festival village area with lots of skiing related stalls.
The Winter film festival will also include several educational events on off-piste safety and awareness. These are being promoted to local school groups and ski clubs to help increase the knowledge of potential dangers whilst skiing in the mountains. There is also a focus on the environmental impacts of skiing and how we can help minimise this whilst sharing ideas for the future.
Although the event is held in Bourg Saint Maurice, close to Les Arcs, it is not the only ski resort participating in the festival. There will be many prizes and competitions with many of the Savoie resorts helping to contribute to this event, including La Rosiere, Sainte Foy, Espace Killy and the Trois Valleys.
