I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and I'm always Scottish despite living on the Wirral, Cheshire with my wife and four kids

What is your teaching experience?

​

I started my teaching career in Scotland, then experiencing the North America and the Southern Hemisphere.   Finally enjoying the charm and challenge of the resorts of the French Alps. 

 

What is your favourite place to ski and why? 

​

Aiguille Rouge to Villaroger, Les Arcs following a fresh fall of snow with its fantastic variety of terrain on and off piste.  
Bucket List: Chile, Japan

What do you like most about Les Arcs?

​

Les Arcs has a friendly atmosphere offering affordable mountain restaurants and a huge variety of achievable and challenging terrain.  Progression around the resort is possible for the young and inexperienced whilst also managing to keep the more advanced market entertained with its accessible off piste and steeper terrain.  

 

 

What do you do in the summer?

 

During the summer I work primarily as an Osteopath in a private practice, treating and preventing sports injuries and helping individuals move better so that they can perform better in their chosen sport.
I also work as part of the Rocktape UK team, who teach seminars in how to apply the coloured “sticky” tape as seen worn by athletes in the Olympics and other major sporting events.
